Visualization and Analysis of Production Data with the
Machining Analyzer
The Machining Analyzer visualizes all available facets of the digital twin
The Machining Analyzer accesses the data of a digital twin platform via interfaces. It makes it possible to select and visualize all available facets (i.e. data from different connected sources) of the digital twin.
How the Machining Analyzer works
User configuration and interfaces
The Machining Analyzer is essentially configured by the user. The software uses interfaces to access data from a digital twin platform, such as that provided by the Process Data Analyzer.
Customizable visualization
As a result, a wide variety of relationships are displayed in one or more diagrams. Graphic type, colors, axis scaling, etc. can be adjusted.
Web-based and on-premises services
The data is analyzed web-based with access to the data in the cloud provided or as on-premises services in a customer’s own cloud or on a customer server. The data to be analyzed can be selected across all processes.
Benefits of the solution
Integration and transparency
Synchronizes all available data sources of a digital twin or several twins and thus enables full transparency of the processes on the machine.
The integration of information from other systems such as CAx, ERP, QA systems and automatic analyses and forecasting services (AI models) is an integral part of the software service.
AI modeling and additional services
AI modeling can be developed on the basis of software-supported analysis and integrated as additional services, e.g. anomaly detection in the workpiece material due to deviations in previous process steps.
User friendliness
The user does not need any IT knowledge to visualize the selected data.
Typical application objects
- Workpieces/components
- Production machines/plants
- Operating equipment (e.g. cutting tools, master forming and forming tools)
- Testing machines and devices
- Logistics systems in production
Software-supported data selection and analysis
On the one hand, the Machining Analyzer enables and simplifies in-depth analyses based on software-supported data selection. On the other hand, a fully automated analysis up to a forecast (e.g. through AI modeling) can be prepared by a clever selection of data from selected objects.
Target group and areas of application
Areas of application
- Development/optimization of objects (R&D), in particular processes, machines and equipment
- Analysis of product weaknesses/complaints (QA)
- Development of automated forecasts (AI models) based on data analysis
- Optimization of production processes (production planning, logistics with purchasing) to shorten throughput times for individual products and increase efficiency in production.
Suitable for high quality requirements
This software is particularly suitable for companies with high quality requirements, flexible production (small batches, batch size 1) and high demands on documentation and transparency.
These levers, which are essential in series production, are now becoming effective with digitalization, particularly in the production of individual parts, one-offs and small series.
Combine our products for maximum benefit
The Machining Analyzer is compatible with all our IIoT solutions, the digital twin software iiotecos, our industry-specific digital twin platforms CuttingEdge World and Cciiot as well as with the Process Data Analyzer for the digitalization of entire production processes.
